The farm raids and murders in South Africa

Postby Cannoneer » 2018 Sep 02 17:32

I brought this up on the Trump is winning thread and the only response I got was the usual denial from wise one claiming anything I write is BS

I know most of you folks are liberals and I wonder if any of you give a damn about the cruel murders of white farmers in South Africa.

Go on line and see the following list.

White South African farmers to be removed from their land

theguardian.com/world/2018/jun/27/murders

Nine gruesome farm attacks that shocked South Africans

Farmlands 2018

You need a strong stomach for some of this.

In the days the song was written, the South African Boers were immigrant farmers of Dutch ancestry who had taken the land by force from indigenous Africans

What a complete distortion of historic facts and vain attempt to characterize the Boers as the aggressors, and by doing so, supporting the communist ANC that the Bantu Africans comprise. Let's state facts:
1. The land that the Boers settled was largely uninhabited. The sparse inhabitants who did inhabit the land (The San and the Khoekhoe) in many cases bartered land to the Boers for material goods (tools, clothes, livestock, etc.) There was no wide-scale use of force by the Boers in settling the South Africa territory. Many of the inhabitants were wiped out by small-pox and those who survived integrated and admixed with the whites, East Indians and blacks who came to inhabit South Africa later.
2. In comparison, the movement of the Bantu (who now comprise the majority of blacks in South Africa and comprise the majority of the members of the ANC) from central Africa to the south was brutal and genocidal. The movement of the Bantu in to south Africa was known as the Defecane (great scattering) as the Bantu killed, raped, enslaved and many times ate the non-Bantu tribes they came in contact with. Two million indigenous inhabitants were wiped off the face of the earth by the Bantu colonization.
3. It was not until the late 18th century that the Bantu came in direct contact with the Boer settlers in South Africa and began to settle in what are now the modern South Africa borders. The Boers had already inhabited the area for decades. The Bantu came in to South Africa after the Boers had settled much of the land.

In any case, it’s a fake controversy, since it is not officially recognized by the South African Government as official in any sense.

How stupid. What damn difference does it make whether the chant is official or not?? Imagine if, in the U.S., we had a large political party comprising a majority of the population and that the party would consistently chant "Kill The Darkie" at their rallies. Now imagine if there was daily murders of black families in their homes and that these were physically horrible and gruesome murders consisting of the worst torture imaginable. Imagine that the leadership of this party actually made statements such as "Bury them alive" or "One bullet - One Darkie". Would it really matter if it was an official chant of that party???? Would we say the chant and the statements for violence against black families had no role in mobilizing and inciting the killers of black families and compare the chant to a song sung by the Confederates? Your attempt to minimalize the ANC's involvement in the killing of Boer families really just shows the soullessness of the modern adherent to liberal ideology. They will forsake any moral sympathy if it does not agree with their strict defined ideology.

I just finished watching this load of crap propaganda produced by the odious Lauren Southern. She's an Dinesh D'Souza/Ann Coulter/ Tomi Lahren wannabe, fanning the flames of distortion, racism, survivalism, and right wing hysteria.

In the narrow-minded, highly ideological, strict-adherent to liberal dogma drone, any knowledge, fact or information that does not meet the tenets of their ideology must be labeled extreme, racist, xenophobic, etc.

I could respond to all the things that are wrong with this film, its premise and conclusions, but it would take time and effort not justified by the abortion of Truth that this film represents. But in summary, it was a waste of an hour.

What a wimpish remark. Please than, pick one "abortion of truth" in the film and comment.

These words are almost identical to those used by American settlers to justify their actions. They are unconvincing. Barter/sale was often in the form of "offers you can't refuse", and the smallpox genocide is identical.

Yes, there was strife and injustice among Africans, but that doesn't excuse the actions by Europeans that resulted in capturing land from those people who were already there. The farcical statement "the land was largely uninhabited" was also used in America. Wyoming even today is "largely uninhabited" but few would justify going out there and grabbing a few thousand acres. Ownership and traditional influence over land use often has little to do with habitation.

Well wise one, as usual you don't know what you are talking about.
Everything Kevsky wrote is the truth.
