In 1983, Seattle Public Schools adopted its “Religion and Religious Accommodation” policy, which was revised in 2007 and it still in effect.
“It is the policy of the Seattle School Board that no religious belief or non-belief should be promoted by the School District or its employees, and none should be disparaged. “
