But he's still black, so something else will come up.

So much for the transparency of this Administration. There are so many damn foxes guarding the henhouse it isn't funny. For Obama and the likes of Mitch McConnell to agree on such a secretive and seemingly nefarious deal doesn't just speak volumes.......it SCREAMS
I am hoping against hope that the House cannot round up the votes needed for this thing to pass.
And just for the record, one of the petitions I signed opposing this deal went to the White House. The response from Obama was such a load of patronizing, condescending bullshit that it was insult to any intelligent, thinking member of the human race. Transparency??? What a damn joke. Believe that about this Administration and I have some wonderful beachfront property in Arizona I'll sell to you on the cheap.
Obama and Faith

We don't really give two hoots how many people think somebody else is a Christian. Those who profess (endlessly) that they are Christians seem to hold the belief that there are only 144,000 of them. Apparently, this is somewhere in scripture. So.....since most people don't qualify, anyway, it seems a bit anti-productive to worry about whether Obama adheres to the paradox of claiming to embrace New Testament orthodoxy while insisting on Old Testament interpretation of everything that looms mysteriously in the form of alternative lifestyles.
But, before we label anyone, maybe we should actually define
Are we talking about Christianity as propagated by the Thomas Road Baptist Church of Lynchburg or that of the Praying Band of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim in western Nigeria?

Jesus was the Living Christ, God The Son, who inspired, "Christianity". You know. "Christ Jesus"? Amy feels better now though for her PITH.

Breaking news: less than 36 hours before U.S. Congress is expected to vote on Fast Track legislation for secret trade deals that could censor the Internet, someone has posted the entire text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) online.

Coondog took Econ. 101 in doggie college, but found the parts that weren't slept through to be completely indecipherable. This trend continues to this very day with concern to ordinary household finances. How is one unversed in global economics to take a position on one side or another when it comes to this big argument about Trade?
Who does none believe? Saunders says no. Chafee says yes. Hillary says maybe. Republicans exhibit their typical incoherency.
Should one even care?
Is Rachel Dolezal black?
Is Bruce Jenner a woman?
Are sharks taking over the beaches?
With these pressing issues at hand, does it really matter if we sell Chevys to Japan? (And would that be viewed as an act of war?)

My view is the fight against the TPP is worthwhile. It serves as a holding action in the inevitable decimation of the middle class as we know it by globalization (and automation), and it has already thrown some fear into our politicians in their usual rush to please their 1%/corporate masters at the expense of the majority of their constituents.
I kinda get the Jenner thing since it surely involves physical hormonal issues. I also know a transgender guy and have gotten a sense of the psychological difficulties he and his wife experienced. It's clearly not an easy decision. OTOH, transracial? No physical genetic precursors? It being psychologically driven is about as convincing as pop music causing teenage white boys to mimick the gangsta/rapper image. (Anyway, we know a DA hairdo and a black leather jacket with lots of zippers are the way to look cool.)
Sharks are scary, but I'm not a beach person.

Will Obama make any public comments on the flooding in La? A natural disaster worse than Katrina?
The media is so corrupt and in the tank for the Democrats.

What the hell are you talking about?
Cheap words and blather are no substitute for action.
Which is .
I know someone personally who has been deployed as a part of a FEMA action team dispatched by the Administration to Louisiana.
You seem to have no interest in facts, only in bad mouthing anybody who does not share your particular brand of xenophobia and racism. You should consider climbing the outside windows of Trump Tower. He'll probably let you in, maybe even allow you to caress his hair. Go for it.
